About This Programme
National Trainers Cohort 2026 is the inaugural trainer certification cohort under the International Certification in Inclusive Insurance (ICII). Implemented by the Center for Policy Research on Business and Development (CPRBD), University of Dhaka, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the programme is designed to develop a national pool of internationally certified Inclusive Insurance Trainers.
Through four internationally benchmarked certification modules delivered by a UNDP-endorsed International Master Trainer, participants develop advanced expertise in inclusive insurance, training facilitation, and knowledge transfer. The programme combines intensive technical instruction with supervised training delivery, enabling participants to build both subject-matter expertise and practical instructional capability.
Upon successful completion, participants become certified trainers equipped to support future capacity-building initiatives, promote global best practices, and contribute to strengthening Bangladesh's inclusive insurance ecosystem.
